We have to honour of inviting you to the Amadeus restaurant and cafe, housed in the cellars of a restored 17th century building in the historic centre of Krakow, just a few steps from the Main Square. The history of the restaurant goes back to 2001, when following a major refurbishment of the historic building at the corner of Krzyża and Mikołajska streets, Jan-Pol S.A. (www.janpol.com.pl) officially opened the four-star Amadeus Hotel (www.hotel-amadeus.pl).

The establishment owes its originality and splendour to frescoes, columns and numerous paintings, complemented by stylish furniture and chairs drawing on the Italian Baroque, as well as plates with Mozart's portraits. The elegant decoration, cosy interiors, friendly and professional service will help you appreciate the quality of our cuisine.

We recommend international dishes, which owe their great flavour, smell and appearance to our skilled chefs. Among the wide range of dishes, the most notable include venison filet stuffed with shrimp, served with groats in a cheese-crisp basket, king prawns and clams, as well as basil-scented veal pouch served in a filo-pastry basket, with pear-asparagus puree and bacon mousse. The taste of our dishes is complemented by the best wines from various regions of the world.

We have hosted well known artists like Mikhail Barishnikow, Jerzy Stuhr, Krzysztof Penderecki as well as numerous politicians, including the Polish President Aleksander Kwaśniewski and his wife.

You are cordially invited
